The inspiration for this comes from that famous photo from 1932 - Lunch atop a Skyscraper - showing 11 construction workers eating lunch 800 feet above New York, while building The Rockefeller Center.

This work demonstrates another basic human desire, to want to build something bigger and better than anyone else.
